Hidden Gem for Local Art

Popped into the Cairns Art Society galleries https://cairnsartsociety.com/ while exploring downtown Cairns—what a hidden gem! The Artists@work Studio had some stunning tropical-themed pieces, sculptures, and watercolours that really capture the region's vibe. Loved seeing member works for sale at the DFO location too. It's not as flashy as the big Cairns Art Gallery, but feels more personal and community-driven. Great for buying original local art without the crowds. Definitely recommend stopping by if you're into supporting regional artists. Free entry and friendly volunteers!
